Genesis 50:6-11  Joseph Takes Leave to Bury Jacob

What an audience Joseph had managed to accumulate for the trip to bury his father. All the senior officials of the land went with him plus most of Joseph's family! This obviously made front page news in Canaan were they were burying Jacob. Would be interesting to know what the Hebrew and Egyptian burial ceremonies consisted of.
