He sympathizes with our weakness.
Moments like this in Jesus’ life give me a deeper understanding of Hebrews 4:15 which says Jesus is able to sympathize with our weaknesses. I would imagine feeling like an outcast in His own home, where His own brothers didn’t believe in who He said He was, would be a horribly lonely place to be. It’s hard to imagine our almighty God humbling Himself to such a low estate, all to repair our relationship with Him. And now, because of His great sacrifice, we can come boldly before the throne of grace. Praise the Lord.
