How to treat the openly sinful

It strikes me as I read this that we in the church often do exactly the opposite of Paul's teaching here. We put up with the sin of believers while condemning the "sinners" outside the church. Paul suggests, and Jesus modeled, a very different approach. This is a passage to lean into and examine ourselves.
