The Scripture Not the CD

I am so glad that we live in the times that we do. There are so many people who have sought after God and studied His Word. There are so many books and magazines, blogs and reports developed and written by great people to support al of us in our walk with the Almighty, our Dad. They give us indicators, best practices, and milemarkers to follow and keep us learning as they have and are learning. But I have noticed that this mountain of available information and material has been a stumbling block for personal revelation.

As we continue our walk in the Lord, let's not limit ourselves to the "digested" revelation of our spiritual leaders but be encouraged to learn and grow on our own, by reading the Word and using it as it says in 2 Tim 3:16-17 . By doing this we will be able to support our local churches and Christian family, and not simply be one of the many who just take from the speaker/pastor/conference giver and continue to live a self-centered life.

We have ALL been called to take the Good News to the nations. Don't let the day pass without first opening the Word and feeding yourself in order to feed others.

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
