Jesus went where?
When Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in their cities.
~~ Where did Jesus go? He went to "their" cities. Were the disciples great men of the church? Nope, these were the average hardworking people, and our Christ went to "their" cities to TEACH and PREACH.
Isn't that comforting to know that those that are not worthy in most societies, or those that have sinned, those that have pasts, or those that are struggling daily. He wants to instruct us, spend time with us, walk with us, talk with us, AND come to our cities to TEACH and PREACH...
Christ goes where you are, because He is with us always... How are you representing Christ in your city? Around you? In your circle of friends?
Thank you my savior, Christ Jesus, for coming into the city where you called me. Thank you for coming even though I have a past, and have sinned against you. Thank you Father God for seeing a future with me, and even potential. You have made me new, given me an abundant life full of blessings and faith walks! Help me to remember that You love those that aren't perfect, You welcome sinners, You sit with them, share with them, see who they can become instead of their past mistakes! Oh, I will continue to praise you Jesus my savior because you first loved me! I love you Jesus!
