Mustard? NO!

I was reading the creation story yesterday and was blown away, again and again, at the power of words that are spoken by God.
"Let there be light,"
"Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water."
"Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
I believe that the terminology God used to speak the earth, and everything into existence was similar to what you and I learned in high school chemistry, biology, and earth science class. He probably listens in on those high school classes daily, and is like, "DUH!!! I said that thousands of years ago."
Okay, so maybe God doesn't use the word duh, but the words that he does use have so much power in them. We have a word that no other thing in creation can say. It's a word that was used not long after Eve came along, and this word is still chosen and used today.
Luke talks about a group of apostles that ask Jesus how they can increase there faith. Jesus replies with a well know verse in scripture.
He replied, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you. -Luke 17:6
Human beings are the only thing in creation that have the ability to tell God no.
That's the word I was talking about earlier, no.
Eve made the choice of no. She decided to disobey God, and say no to his will and his law, and say yes to temptation. We do the same exact thing today. Even Christ followers. We pray to God and ask him to increase our faith. He gives us something basic, a soft lob, that we can handle. He tells us that if we have faith as small as a mustard seed, we can uproot a tree. But, we say no. That's too easy, there has to be something more difficult that gives me super faith.
Why is it that we say no to the little things? Why is it that we say no to God?
