speaking with conviction

I just read through the first 3 chapters of Acts and what stood out to me the most is the conviction that Peter spoke with. Mostly in chapters 2 and 3. He really condemns the crowds he speaks to, his words cut deep. Ch. 2 v.37 they ask him what shall we do after "they were cut to the heart" after listening to Peter speak about David and how they Jesus who David recognize as both Lord and Christ from God's promise to David.

In chapter 3 he condemns the crowd and cuts them to the heart again after they were "marvelling" at the lame man walking...verse 12.

Peter is definitely an inspiration and motivation to me to Boldly go and do God's work. Especially if God's work is calling you to speak and preach. I have to speak with conviction because there are no grey areas with God, only black and white, light and dark. I either go and bring the ABSOLUTE TRUTH or i might as well not go at all. Love is the way to open doors but once that door is open I have to drop 100% JESUS truth to fill up whats behind that door.
