It's not about the money.
Jesus is speaking to us about whether or not we are willing to invest ourselves in the process of improving the world. We've been given an opportunity by God to use our gifts, prayers and time in the world to bring about change. We can seize this opportunity or we can bury it away like the last servant did in the parable.
It's time to create a new sense of value within the church that is brought about by our creative energies and not by being liked by or being like others. We have all been given a calling by God and we need to tap into that potential on a personal level to bring about real change in society.
I pray that we as a body of believer we all take the risk and invest our gifts so that we can respond to the calling that God has for each of us.
