MATTERS OF MY HEART
32 “They are like children who sit in the market place and call to one another, and they say, ‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not weep.’
This scripture reminds me of 2 things- first, to be content with Your grace. I cannot get caught up in expecting things or complaining---whether my perspective is right or wrong. And 2nd- to never forget why it is I do what I get to do...to expect people to dance, because I play a song!
No matter what, You love me---even when I am stubborn and take a while to learn certain things. With that same patience, I must love others-rather than get impatient. Just connect them to You! And I must always do everything I do, wholeheartedly---because I am doing it for You!
Heavenly Father, forgive me for being impatient from time to time. Forgive me for not being content. I know that You have prepared me for such a time as this, so help me to be faithful and obedient to You! Lord, may I always remember that You are the One who stirs our hearts-so will You constantly stir my heart for You, and also those who I get to serve alongside! I love You Lord...Thank You for Your grace! In Your name-Amen!
