Being a Special Utensil

"If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work." NLT

Who doesn't want that to be a true depiction of their lives? I know I surely do! This verse seriously pumps me up and pushes me on through the moments that make being pure/clean difficult. We also see in the NIV that "...if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use." A vessel? As in a carrier of the Word? I'd say so. Let's seek to be pure. Let's strive to do only what is honorable, even when people aren't watching bc as we've been told since we were little, God's always watching.
