Observation:
- Through out the whole chapter the Jews turn around what was meant to be their destruction into their salvation by the grace of God.
- Jesus takes the least likely, a small sinful man, and uses him as an example of redemption and salvation.
- God gives to us to be fruitful, those who are not fruitful will lose what they have, those who do not believe will gain death. [Luke 19:26-27]
- Jesus wants us to keep our eyes open and to observe what is going on around us, spiritually. [Luke 19:42-44]
Application:
- I must keep my faith in God through all things big or small and trust that he will deliver me from harm. And not only will he do that, but he will turn it to me good.
- I must at all times remain fruitful for God's kingdom. He gave life to me so that I could in-turn give it to others.
- No matter what my faults I must believe in myself because God can and WILL use me for his purpose.
Prayer:
Thank you heavenly Father, for the revelation of Your Word. Give me the things I require to bring fruit in your kingdom. Deliver me from all afflictions and troubles, and give em the faith to trust in you, especially in those times. Use me Jesus, for your purpose. Amen.
