Power of the Gospel

I read this scripture a couple of times telling myself " I am not ashamed of the gospel". But, I cannot necessary say that I am or not. I do not think I will ever reject Jesus if an individual ask me about my beliefs or if I'm given a chance to talk about my faith. However, its pretty difficult to share the gospel without any knowledge of the scriptures. God is not asking us to know everything. I am not sure if that is possible. However, we should desire to grow in the word so we may be prepared to share the gospel to others. I seriously find this scripture very poignant. To know that the gospel " is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believe" amazes me. The gospel leads me to salvation- total utter surrender and a epiphany of a loving man name Jesus- is truly beautiful. To know that salvation infiltrates freedom and assurance. To know that salvation allows me to accept a abundant love. This only occurs to those who fully let go and accept Jesus in other words believes wholeheartedly. It's absolutely beautiful to me. I want to learn more and more about this gospel- the truth of life. I hope you anyone who reads this realizes what joy and peace the scriptures will reveal.
