Even though Joseph didn't go on to divorce Mary, his good heart was demonstrated in how he planned to handle the difficult situation. He planned to do it quietly. Even though he was probably devestated, he didn't seek to handle the matter publicly. He could have drug her through the mud, but didn't. Love covers a multitude of sins. Even when people fail you, don't handle their failures publicly but graciously.
