As one raised in Jewish tradition, the Passover is a time of family gathering for a seder, which is essentially, having a Passover meal and a formal ritual which can today be found and followed by a "Pesach Haggadah". As we follow this "service book" we recount this Passover meal.
As a Christian, there is also the special symbolism as found when the blood is applied to the doorposts. At the top and on either side-imagine it as the three points of the Cross, and the freedom we have in Christ.
