Psalm 15
Psalm 15 is my favorite Psalm because the way that I connect it to my life is by using it as a challenge. I want to try hard to follow what the Psalm says each day of my life. I've read it so many times now, that when I come to a situation at school or something, Psalm 15 pops into my head. "Are you going to do that or not?" Then I will sometimes read it right before I go to bed, and I review my day. Did I speak the truth? Did I keep my promises? Did I do anything mean to the people around me? After I do my 'checklist', my favorite part is the last verse, "He who does these things will never be shaken." I don't think it means that we won't be shaken from life or other people, but that we will never be shaken from God, and we will have a strong faith in him. The last verse is what gives me motivation to use Psalm 15 as a challenge everyday of my life.
