Empty-Hearted
If it's not from the heart, God doesn't want it...b/c in all truth, He wants our hearts.
If we give Him our money or our time half-heartedly out of some 'mandatory obligation to do so', it is utterly DETESTABLE to Him. It would be better that we not give Him anything, if it's not going to come from our heart.
So don't continue to give out of some unbiblical "I'm suppose to give so I give" mentality. Instead, pray to Him and ask Him to change your heart. That your heart would overflow with a deep DESIRE and LONGING to give, not b/c you feel you have to, but b/c you WANT to out of a genuine and deep LOVE for Him, the one who laid it all down...for YOU...That's what pleases Him :)
