Are We Willing?
"if you are willing..."
Isaiah prophesied that 'if Israel was willing and obedient they would eat the BEST from the land'...
Why would anyone not want to be willing to have the BEST of anything?!...Unless...they felt like what they were "eating" was better than what God had to offer.
A lot of the time I think we feel like WE have the best plan in mind; that WE know what's best for us and so we're gonna go ahead and do that. What we forget though is that we DON'T have the best plan for our lives.
It's not that it's wrong for us to make plans, but what we have to remember is that we need to make plans with our hands open. That way, when God tells us that what He has for our lives is BETTER, He doesn't have to pry our fingers open (paraphrased from Ben Stuart, "Breakaway Ministries").
