Counsel from the Lord

Joshua had fallen prey to acting as he had in the attack upon Ai and when he failed to seek God's direction. Often Satan will use a totally different approach to take advantage of a vulnerable area in the life of a believer. Joshua's tendency was to act on his own perception without first laying it before God.
