So the first thing that I wondered about with this passage is “What in the world is teem?” So I looked it up. #1 – to become pregnant.. Okay, I’m with you now. I guess God wanted to make sure we got the “be fruitful” thing right. So he added in “go and get pregnant, you crazy kids”

Anyways, back to the passage at hand. God gives us the right to eat meat (I had fish last night it was great!) and God also establishes government. He knows that men are wicked at heart and that we will go on killing and stealing and everything else that our hearts can think of. And so God says that we need to have order, we need to have laws and government.
