who can understand God's reasoning or timing. Perhaps because God is just, he must allow the descendents of Ham to sin to the point where he is justified in expelling them from the land?
Lev. 18:24 Canaan's iniquity is finally fulfilled, and the Israelites may now inheret the land. YHWH being a just God, he must treat the Israelites as he treated the Canaanites before them--no preferential treatment. If they commit the same sins, they must receive the same punishment--exile.
