Laws Decreed
Isn't it interesting how in this culture the law was upheld, obeyed, and researched? Even the king seeks out the law and obeys each decree as though the law has far more power than he who issued it. We also seek out the word of God given from long ago but how often do we stay true to the active word of God going out in our own day and age? Do we really even have this kind of reverence for the things we ourselves say and commit to?
