What is the writer saying?
The Sad's come to Jesus with what basically amounts to a riddle, again trying to snag him and catch him in his words. Wisely, Jesus responds by putting the focus on the difference between how we live and think here on earth and how heaven doesn't play by the same rules. We will be equal to angels and our weak minds and way of living will be changed as we are raised to life.

How can I apply this to my life?
Try not to be a skeptic. Skeptics are annoying and irrational. Do be discerning. Take the time to ask hard questions, but keep my heart and mind open so that the Holy Spirit really can actually teach me something.

God, thank you that one day, I will be made new with you. Thank you for being the God of life.
