don't get tired!
9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Galatians 6:4 NLT
In a world of self-help, image and perception it’s no wonder we battle on a daily basis the temptation to just do what we want to do in our lives. But as this whole chapter states it only produces death in the end. Doing what is right and depending on the Holy Spirit is not easy to do but in the end rewarding. God promises that we will be blessed if we do. We can’t always see it now but it will pay off in the end and this scripture seems to imply that. It seems to say what I do now will affect my future of being blessed by God.
I need to cling to, remember and live by this scripture all of the time. It will ultimately effect how I live my life and make decisions on a daily basis. If I am thinking ahead about what may or may not happen based on a good or bad decision it will help stay on track and keep me on a path to living a blessed like and not that of one filled with regret and explanation.
God please help me to have this, Your Word at the forefront of my every day as I am tempted by the enemy Satan to stop doing good and just do for me or my self-gain.
