Thought of the day….

Many times in the Bible the Lord calls out to Abraham, Isaac, Samuel, Jacob, Moses, and others and the response is always “Here I am Lord.” They all seem to be saying, “I’m listening. Lord, what’s next?” In today’s verse, when the Lord calls out, Isaiah also answers “Here I am” and responds eagerly to the call “Send Me!” I think many times we pray for God’s direction with conditions on what his answer will be. Here I am Lord, your servant is listening, but when we get the answer, we want to say “no, that’s not the ..........................
