Effective Leadership and the three fold aspect of vision:
Vision's 3-fold Aspect:
1. The ability to see
When people have vision they want the extraordinary.
Daniel 11:32. The people that know their God shall be strong and do great things.
The task of a great leader is to get his people from where they are to where they haven't been.
God often asks you: "What do you see?"
Proverbs 29:18
Where there is no vision people perish. When you don't see God's vision, opportunity will slip through your fingers.
Zach. 4:1-2
This is a wake up call.
Warfare/Disappointment can cloud vision.
I do not want to be asleep to anything that God wants to do.
Why? Because we have an enemy that wants to steal, kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all it's fullness.
Vision comes progressively.
Psalms 37:24. If they fall, they will not stay down, because the Lord will help them up.
Be an agent of change for God.
Can you see beyond today?
People with vision see/think beyond today, here, now!
1 Chronicles 17:16-20.
"But that's nothing compared to what's coming"
We are a city set on a hill.
2. The ability to believe - Faith
Don't start as an original and die a copycat!
It is always the person who has never done anything that is sure that nothing can be done.
Whether you think you can or think you can't... You're right.
Matt. 9:29
Faith sees with spiritual eyes.
1Cor. 16:29
Faith reaches and stretches toward the vision!
Mark 8:27
God is taking you by your hand and taking you out of your comfort zone, then he touches us again and we will see clearly.
2Cor. 10:15. Strengthening our faith to reach others.
Hebrews 11:20
3. The heart to DO. Take action.
Vision without execution is hallucination.
If we did all the things we were capable of doing, we would astound ourselves
Leaders that take action:
1. Committed to the house
Commitment- to pledge and bind yourself to a position.
Attitude is always more important than facts.
Where there is commitment there will be miracles.
One person with passion is equal to a force of 99 who have only an interest.
Committed people are contagious.
The greatest commitment has to be at the core.
2. They have a team spirit and work in unity.
They understand that unity flows from alignment.
Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction.
When things start shaking, check your alignment.
1Cor. 1:10.
Alignment - everyone knows their place, everyone knows their job. Line up with the vision - when everyone is working toward the same goal.
Result: Team unity that is supernatural.
2 Cor 4:13
Joel 2:7-8
4. They have a hunger to grow personally and a passion to develop others.
They take initiative they are motivators.
Romans 12:8.
Constant leathers - keep growing / developing
They have a heart to develop others and share their ministry.
Before you become a leader your focus is on growing yourself but when you become a leader success is about growing others.
1. Model ministry inspire impart vision
2. Always be looking for new leaders
3. Invite them to work with you
4. Train them in the values -DNA of the House
We can only reproduce what we are.
2 Tim 2:1-2
Find faithful to train
5. Give them opportunities
6. Release them - replace yourself.
No success with out a successor.
