Throwing in the towel is NOT an OPTION!
David prays in this Psalm in strict confidence knowing that God is his protector and shield. He calms his own fears by knowing that God is his light when darkness slips in and glooms his path. However, the heart of the Psalm says it all in verse 13 when David says I would've fainted if I didn't believe that goodness is coming my way despite of the mess that is in front of me now. This is not my destiny, this is not my end, and this is not my final destination. I know that despite of all the hell I've been through, goodness is on the horizon. The good news is that I don't have to wait until I get to Heaven to receive it. In fact, I will see goodness here in the land of the living. Therefore, know today beloved, that your tomorrow is greater than your today! Goodness is on its way to you and this too shall pass!
