The Problem is YOU

This is the problem with the faith of so many today. We say we believe in God. We believe that Jesus has conquered death. We believe Jesus was a miracle worker, but few believe he still IS a miracle worker. We say we believe Jesus is alive today, but somehow, whether we say it or not, we seem to think he's different.

This Jesus who told this dad that all things are possible is the same Jesus we know today and he says the same thing to us - "All things are possible for the one who believes" The problem is, we don't believe. The problem isn't Jesus' ability, the problem is us.

It's time to stop praying pansy prayers. It's time to stop being so timid and whiny when we approach God with a need. It's time we admit that the problem isn't whether or not God will or can answer...the problem is we don't believe he will.

God, help our unbelief be replaced with true belief in you, your power and abilities
