Is His Way Your Way?

I've never seen this before, but the blind man has faith in Jesus, asks to receive his sight and Jesus restores it. Jesus then adds, "go your way." [ESV]. But get this...as soon as this blind guy (Bartimaeus) receives his sight, instead of going his own way, instead of going at all, he "followed Jesus on the way" [ESV]

Did you catch that? Jesus heals him and sets him free to do what he wants, go where he wants, live how he wants. But Bartimaeus is so impacted by what Jesus has done for him that he can't help but follow the way of Jesus!

Jesus has set us free, healed us and restored us as well....which WAY are you going? Is His way YOUR way?
