John 11:1-57
Verse 7&8- Jesus decides to go up to Judea to raise Lazarus, even if it means that it will bring Him into the hands of those looking to harm Him. His own well-being was not as important as the one He was to minister to. Jesus was always dying to self! Throughout chapter 11 we see Jesus willingness to risk His own well-being in order to come to this family who was hurting. Jesus, You're self-sacraficing!! You're more concerned with others, than You are with Your own comfort! Work in my heart! Make me more like You in this area! May the hurts of others move my heart, like it does Yours!
