Living Words
This area of scripture is just a greater confirmation of a nearness to the Spirit of God and not a hollow pursuit of rules. Because we are in a relationship and because we walk through different seasons God may have different advice for us. What was the plan in the past may not be the plan for the future. Yet how much easier it is to pull out a list of rules to govern our steps rather than seeking the heart of the Father. I am so glad for the heart of Christ that may seem confusing in this area of scripture but reminds us that He is alive! And our faith, pursuit of Him should be alive. What does that look like. To pursue a living God with a living faith? It sounds like the answer to a hungry soul. It sounds like the drink that my humanity craves. The Creator stooping down to draw near to His beloved and His beloved leaning upon His bosom for necessity and desire. A walk, a talk, a laugh, a lesson, a cry, a fight, time with eachother. Oh how rich we can be if we go to Him. Thank You for seasons. Seasons that remind us of a living God with living Words!
