The depths of the water.
I read Numbers 19 and 20. In both chapters the israelites deal with water. In chapter 19 The Lord talks about the cleansing water and how it cleans the Israelites and such. In verse 20 Moses strikes the rock after the Israelites complain and God provides them with water in the desert.
Now we all know that Jesus calls himself the living water, and says "if anyone is thirsty come to me and you will never be thirsty again." But what I found to be interesting was today after I read these 2 chapters I read Mark 4.
In Mark 4 the man who was possessed by the demon "legion" was freed from that. Jesus sees the man that noone can bind and casts the demons out. (side note it's crazy how they need his permission to do things and they beg him to go into the pigs and Jesus is NICE enough to allow such a thing, though they deserve worst.) Then the woman with the internal bleeding problem touches his cloak and is healed from her sickness. And then Jesus wakes the little girl up who everyone thought was dead and mourned for her.
The man who was possessed and needed cleansing was washed with the words of Jesus (living water). The woman who was in the desert and a world of pain needed Jesus (living water) to heal her. The girl who was in a coma and everyone thought had died had been risen again by the words of Jesus (living water). That specific scene almost looks like a baptism. Amazing How he was there taking care from the start in heaven above giving the israelites the water they needded to be cleansed and the water to survive in their desert. Then comes humbly to earth gives his people cleansing and quenches their thirst for healing and wakes people up! And now what's truly amazing here He is in my life giving me the water i need to survive the desert, the water I need to be healed and cleansed, the water i need to wake up! the depths of this living water goes beyond what I could imagine. Truly truly amazing.
Heavenly Father,
God how awesome and amazing you are. Jesus I need you like I need water lord. To survive, to wake up and live, to be healed, to be cleansed. Jesus I am so glad that you spoke to me today in such an absolutely amazing amazing way God. God this is what I need to fall more and more in love with you everyday. God you are the absolute best! YAHWEH YAHWEH MY HEART CRIES YAHWEH! There is nothing that can describe who you are lord so you are Yahweh and you will be praised. Jesus don't let this end here please let's fall more in love with each other as the day continues. God you are freaking awesome! I LOVE YOU! In jesus' name I pray!
