Don't Neglect The Preparation for Others

John prepared the way for people's hearts to be ready to hear from Jesus, and believe in him. He wasn't there to close the deal, but speak truth, help people step into repentance, and draw closer to God.

We might not be on "stage" when it's time for someone to make a decision for Jesus - but that doesn't mean we need to be timid or relax in the luxury of our lives. Our work in living like Jesus to help prepare the people around us is work the effort, sacrifice and passion as if we are on stage before a large crowd ready to raise their hands.

I think we too often discount how the mundane moments of our life, faithfully lived, create an unstoppable force for the movement of God's grace and truth in people's lives.
