WITNESS
Acts 1:8 "..., and you shall be WITNESSES to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."- as believers we make a big deal about this verse. We pick it apart. We decifer what "our Jerusalem is", and what "our Judea and Samaria is", and we use this to justify not branching out "too far" and going to third-world countries for the sake of spreading the Gospel. -BUT, all the while, I find myself (sadly) glossing-over, and barely obeying the key word in that command... WITNESS!! I am a "witness" when, or if, it is convenient for me. Jesus told the disciples to be "witness to Me" to ALL!! Have I been a witness to ALL Chattanooga?? -The Apostle Paul said in Acts 20:26&27 "therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God." -Paul truly shared Christ, and the Gospel News of Salvation, everywhere he went! When will I step up, and straight up be a WITNESS???
