Jesus knew rejection. The people had heard about the things that Jesus was doing (miracles). He didn't perform any miracles in His hometown. The people didn't want Jesus because of Who He was. They only wanted Him for what He could do.

Seek Jesus for Who He is, not what he can do for you.
