Keeping the Classics.
I was reading through Mark 10 and I keep seeing all these different charcteristics of Jesus. Kind and healing, correcting, teaching, etc. And here in 10:45 the classic line. "For even the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve." Classic, we have all heard this scripture at some point in our walk, if not then you will haha! But I can never get over when God reminds me of this. It's so simple and so classic and yet it never changes. I change, my circumstances change, my seasons change and here I can be reminded that I am here to serve. I am here to forward the kingdom of God. I am NOT here to be served, no matter what my season this should be a golden rule. What a great reminder, I need to take some time off of worship to have some communion for myself and to get back to the root and true meaning of serving.
Heavenly Father,
God thank you for reminding me of this. That I am here to serve your people. God no matter what around me changes you never do and God thank you for that. That you are ALWAYS good, that you are ALWAYS there, that you are ALWAYS true! Jesus I love you so ridiculously much and what's more than that, I know you love ME a ridiculous amount more. What a crazy thought! I love you lord! In Jesus Name I Pray!
