Numbers 9:15-23

They were never sure how long they would be staying in one spot. It could have been for a day, a month, or a year. This means that even if they would only be staying overnight, or even for just a day, they had to unpack everything: their food, shelter, the Tabernacle, etc. I know that if I knew I would only be staying overnight somewhere, I would just take out my sleeping bag and an extra change of clothes.
This act allowed them to give to the Lord wholeheartedly. Whenever I'm faced with a task, no matter what the size, God wants me to do my absolute best, for his glory. Giving my life to Christ means that I do just that and work at everything with all of my heart.

1 Corinthians 10:31: So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Colossians 3:23, 24b: Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people...the Master you are serving is Christ.
