without pride how can there be shame....?

The two go hand and hand. Too often I think of how prideful I am... or maybe how humble I am.... often times there is pride in humility. Ive read this verse many times thinking "yes the prideful will be shamed". But then it occurred to me that shame cannot exist without pride. Interesting to ponder even with the small things in life we are prideful about.
