In this verse, it stands out to me how the Spirit is the reason or the force behind life. He created it initially, sin brought death, and He renews it or brings life again.
I am also reminded as I read this that it is the Spirit that creates in us a new creature by bringing us to spiritual life. Amazing Grace.
