When Life Falls Apart

Everything that God made is good, because he said so.

But where there is good, there is also bad.

However, there is nothing in your life that isn't good, or can't be used for good, if you know him.

Romans 8:28 is security for the believer.

When bad things happen, no one can walk that path for you. It does not say that everything has a happy ending on earth, but every aspect of our lives is in God's hands.

If we draw close to him, he will draw close to us.

Revival comes when we are in the darkest places in our lives, and we can't go to him and he has to come to us. God comes to us in the valley.

When tragedy comes, we can't help but ask "why God?". But, in our weakness, he is made strong. Don't lean on your own understanding.

Working for good: in this lifetime and the next.

Our worldly possessions, bodies, and lives may waste away, but we are eternally being renewed on the inside.

True salvation produces love for God, which guarantees this security.

Genuine love for God has many facets:

- It desires a personal time with God

- it trusts him to protect us

God's purpose for our pain is for us to become more like Christ.

Through Christ, God came to step into your story so that he can bring you peace and assurance and joy in all circumstances.
