Other boats?

I never noticed before that there were other boats following them. What happened to those boats? Did they see the miracle of the calming of the storm? Were they saved also? Or had they given up and headed back to shore before those events and the storm? Did they miss the miracle because they gave up following Jesus too quickly? Lots of questions with no answers, but an intriguing thought.
