We have been marked by God.  So now what?  Well, first of all don't lose that mark.  Don't lose what sets you apart from others.  DO NOT CAST AWAY YOUR CONFIDENCE.  It has a GREAT reward.

When I look back at my spiritual ancestors that threw away there mark or where terribly close to losing their mark-- I think of SAMSON.  An incredibly MARKED man of God.  Strength.  Hair.  A judge.  A leader.  And he cast away his mark for what?  A night of pleasure?  Was it worth it, Samson?  I think of MOSES.  Chosen to lead thousands.  Did so much.  And then, in a fit of rage, disobedience and frustration-- He threw his MARK away.  (When God told Moses to SPEAK to the rock, Moses hit the rock twice.  That came to bite him in the rear later when god said Moses could not enter the promise land.)  I think of DAVID.  Who else has been MARKED as a man after God's own heart?  A singer.  An artist.  A composer.  A poet.  A fighter.  Warrior.  Leader.  General.  King.  And he put his mark in danger for another man's wife.

DO NOT CAST AWAY YOUR MARK!!!  Why? Because it has great reward! So that after you have done the will of God, YOU MAY RECEIVE THE PROMISE.
