* Philemon is a good example of what God has don for us and how he shows us Grace constantly. Even though we don't deserve his grace and forgiveness, much like Onesimus sinned against Philemon.
*Paul had a level of love for Onesimus that I feel is an example of Gods love for us.
*Onesimus had growth in facing a possible death for coming back to his owner that he wronged. So many times I'm not willing to "face death" for God. Trusting him enough that what he wants for me is the best thing
*Christians share a partnership that supersedes all other relationships
~How have I seen reconciliation between other brothers and sisters in Christ?
~How are we treating others to reflect how Christ treats us?
*Forgiveness is a heart condition, that can only be there with Christ
~Do we remember that we are the "slave"? How do we see Christ mediating for us, before God?
*We can never fully understand the impact that the cross has on us, until we realize how utterly hopeless and helpless we are...Praise God! Praise God! Praise God!
"I used to be useless, and now I'm useful " ~ Onesimus
