Searching is fun?

"May all who search for you be filled with joy and gladness in you."

Joy is not naturally my first stop when I'm searching for something.

By definition, searching is fueled by desperation.

Is it possible that when desperately searching for God we would be inexplicably filled with joy?

is it possible that a heart would be filled with gladness just at the prospect of moving closer to its Creator?
