Reading all of these parables in this chapter reminded me of what Francis Chan said in his book "Crazy Love." He had an interesting take on the parables. He said that Jesus spoke in parables that not everyone understood because it helped to separate the fakers from His legitimate followers.
If you are truly seeking Jesus, then you will understand His teaching. Most of these parables in this chapter have to do with separating the believers from the nonbelievers.
In the end, it will those who have been seeking Jesus and living for Him that will inherit the Kingdom of God.
