In a deep valley

Currently I am languishing in a deep, deep valley. I search my heart and soul questioning myself 'why?' but I am sure what the Lord promised in Philippians 1:6 that '...as he began the work in me, He will carry on until it is finished'.

I want to be a living testimony if God's faithfulness and love.

In Matt 11:28-30 He says 'Come to me all who are weary and burdened I will give you rest. Take my yoke...For the yoke I will give you is easy and the load ...is light'.

But am finding the burden I am currently carrying way too heavy for my tiny shoulders! But I will rely on the promise in Deu 28:13 that the Lord my God will make me the head and not the tail. I am so tired of being looked down on. As I confess all my sins God will keep his promise and do what is right 1 John 1:9.

But I surely know that it will and is not meant to be an easy road and the gate is narrow Matt 7: 13-14. With God's help I will overcome!! I will be able to give him glory with the living hope 1Peter 1:3-5.
