Less is more, the winner is relationships.

Jesus always spent time in prayer and a relationship with God.

If we buy into the more is more, leads to guilty even in our off periods. Taking time for off, make our on time better. Time off or a rest activity means a distinguish time or special time to recharge ourselves for our on time.

No one ever wants to be overloaded, but we buy into society, not saying no or not taking items off our list. It becomes a suttle poisoning to our quality of life (i.e., like carbon monoxide poisoning orderless and colorless, so people do not know it is happening, tired at first, then headache, sleepy or tired feeling, then death)

Noise from outside distractions (Facebook, TV, News, etc) we tune into these and tune out Jesus and others that want a relationship with us. Rev 3:20 and Rev 22:17 - the Holy Spirit and the bride say, Come! And let him who is listening say, Come!

To save a person from CO poisoning, you remove the person from the environment and flood them with pure oxygen. To save a person from Overload, you have to remove the distraction and them flood them with the relationship or the word of God.

Mark 6:7 Jesus sent you the disciples to preach and cast out demons, the results were talked about in versus 12-13, even King Herod heard about it versus 14. When the disciples came back in versus 30, thousands followed them back to Jesus. With all the activity, Jesus said come away with me and get some rest versus 31.

It is simple principle, you can not give what you do not have. You can not help others if you do not have time. You can not expand a relationship if you do not have time.

Example, stress hormone increases also increases anti-social behaviors.

Twice in the NT Paul says "... study to be quiet..." make it a habit in your life (1 Thes, 1 Tim - mind your own business so you can recharge yourself). This is the way to flood your life with quite time.
