God's Arms Are Not Too Short
In Numbers 11, we continue to see the journey the Israelites went through after God rescued them from Egypt. God provided the people with manna when they did not have any food to eat. Eventually, the people grew tired of the manna and became ungrateful. They begin to complain and thought they would be better off back in slavery in Egypt. Moses became troubled by the people's complaining and questioned God about placing this burden on him. God told Moses to have the people consecrate themselves, for the next day He would provide them with meat to eat for a whole month. Moses was in disbelief that God would provide enough meat for 600,000 people to eat for a whole month. God responded to Moses by saying, "Is the Lord's arm too short? Now you will see whether or not what I say will come true for you". We see later in the passage that God indeed supplied the 600,000 people with quail to eat.
How many times do we think just because something is too hard for us that it must be hard for God as well? Luke 18:27 tells us "what is impossible with man is possible with God". God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above what we can even think or ask (Ephesians 3:20).
So step out in faith and trust the God who is able to do anything. He is sovereign and has everything under control. God's arms are not too short to meet and supply your needs (Philippians 4:19) God's arms are not too short to grant you the desires of your heart as you delight yourself in Him (Psalm 37:4). God's arms are not too short to heal and restore what seems to be a broken marriage. God's arms are not too short to sustain you in the current economy. The circumstances go on and on, but just know it is not out of our God's reach. Look for God's arms in your life!
