Do not wait for the perfect moment.
I was struck by Paul's closing greeting from those saints of the household of Caesar.
Paul is imprisoned. His freedom impounded. Yet his work continues full throttle. In his crisis, in confinement, Paul sets about evangelizing those holding him in prison.
You should never ever say I can't serve right now because I'm going through too much. My problems are too tough and my life is too stressful.
Listen, life will always be tough. Life is known for it's curveballs. Stop saying that when such and such is over, when my job works out, when the kids are out of school, when winter is over, when I get some more money, when I get married, when things calm down at home...
Listen if you wait for a perfect moment to do something for God you'll never do anything.
The lazy man stays home and says there may be a lion in the way.
Paul spent his imprisonment writing the Bible and winning the lost--not sucking his thumb and whining that now is just not the right time. If you don't do what God has equipped and gifted you to do NOW you are robbing glory from Him and heaping woe upon yourself.
There will be people from Caesars family in heaven because Paul wasn't a thumb sucking whine bag.
