"Just Trust Me and Everything Will Be Alright" - God

In Luke 8, there is man who approaches Jesus and begs Him to heal his 12 year old daughter (his only child) who is dying. Jesus attempted to make His way through the crowds to get to the man's daughter (vv.41,42). In the meantime, a woman who suffered with a bleeding issue for 12 years with no cure, slipped in to be able to touch just the hem of Jesus' garment (v.43). During that very moment, her bleeding stopped. Jesus felt power go from out Him and asked "Who touched me"? (v.44,45) Eventually, the woman admitted that she touched Jesus and told her story and how she was instantly healed (v.47). Jesus told the woman that she took a risk trusting Him, but it resulted in her being healed and whole (v.49).

In the meantime, someone came from the man's home and told him not to bother Jesus because his daughter was dead. Jesus reassured the man to not be upset. He went on to say "just trust me and everything will be alright" (v.50). Jesus went on to the man's house, He told the little girl to get up and instantly she was up breathing again (v.54). As we trust in Jesus, everything will be alright.

Proverbs 3:5,6 tells us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not to lean to our own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. Since we fear and reverence God we are to also trust in Him (Psalm 115:11). There's no point in trusting in anything or anyone other than God. The word of God tells us that it is "far better to take refuge in God than to trust in people" (Psalm 118:8). As we trust in God, mere mortals can do nothing to us (Psalm 56:11). By trusting in God we're counted as His children of faith (Galatians 3:7). Life is far more beneficial and rewarding as we trust in our God, who can do all things.

Don't look at life or the circumstances you're faced with -- look expectantly to God. God's going to do everything that He's promised. God carefully guards His word so that it does not return void to Him and it accomplishes everything He set out for it do (Isaiah 55:11). Out of your love for God and because you are called according to God's purpose, every detail of your life will ultimately work out for your good (Romans 8:28).

The psalmist writes in Psalm 71:1 that he runs for dear life to God, and never lives to regret it. Trusting in God is one decision you'll never regret. God is more than able to do exceeding abundantly what we could even think or ask of Him. Be reassured that as you continue to trust God everything will be alright.
