Miracles for the Undeserving

Miracles are undeserved.  Beginning with the miracle of new birth and every miracle after that.

Remember this.  Because most of us believe we have to "earn" them.  God doesn't work miracles among us because we are holy but because He is.  God doesn't heal because you are good, but because He is.  

I'm so glad God's goodness doesn't depend on mine.

If you need further proof - look at the NEXT verse!  Abraham - believed.  Abraham did not earn.  Abraham tried to save his skin by offering his wife to pagan king.  Abraham received the promise of Isaac regardless.  Why?  God was good to him.
